Seven Ages Theatricals Marketing/PR Director Kit Evans returns to the director’s chair after their hit staging of The Odd Couple a couple of seasons back to take on a much more delicate piece. The Glass Menagerie tells the story of the fragile young Laura, whose disability as a child and struggles with her mental health have turned her shy and reclusive. Her overbearing mother, Amanda, a fading Southern belle, is thrilled that a “gentleman caller” will be visiting and takes over the situation. This aching and beautiful American classic has an intimate cast and a powerful story.
